Did I Hear a Niner?

Gideon is nine months old now!! And can I tell you that the past month has been the funnest yet? On September 1st Gideon finally got the crawling thing down. Then Nate's parents came to visit on October 24th and they motivated Gideon into pulling himself into a standing position. And then last week he was able to stand still by himself for 3 minutes. He hasn't quite repeated that feat, but it was exciting to know that he can do it.

Gideon also talks a lot more nowadays. Mostly da-da-da-da-dahs and na-na-na-na-nahs. I swear he says, "Habla" sometimes. But he still manages to express himself and we have enjoyed our pseudo conversations with him.

To celebrate his nine month mark we took him to a nearby park and he learned how to slide and jumped around the bridge. Then we went on a little hike and pulled leaves off trees and played with bugs. It was pretty much a perfect day.
